DUOJNA

They are forces of energy who when they lived on earth took the form of a slender wolf-like creature. Their strength was unfathomable and their presence commanded respect. They had control over the humans and creatures of the woods. They are guardians and protectors... fierce and undwindling in loyalty. As the tales of their power grew across countries they became a hunted species... humans believing by owning their hides they would absorb the Duojna's magic which proved to be completely untrue... once the Duojna was killed its spirit and power was released.

Before the creature became extinct what was left of the Duojna were caught by a group of sages in Europe and were kept in their dwelling until they lived out their lives. Upon their deaths the sages captured their spirits and encapsulated them into objects to use the powers of the Duojna.
